Trying the medical system the next day

Didn't know that beer is the one thing that made me see the hospital

Trying beer at night

After more than a week without any drinking, I was more than curious about Sri Lanka beer

Impressing Buddhist Tempel

All over are Temples, but this is by now the most impressing moneyed one I saw

This Lord Buddha is like ten times me

He has a imposing collection of cars, my favorite one

overwhelming compilation of statues, for sure my favorite one

what ever it means, but at the entrance of almost every temple, don't miss the vomiting birds

sign for a rich temple, the holy elefant

covering for worshipping, or just for respect

temple of independence, to late to feel like the Sri Lanka Mahatma Gandhi

Cemetery
(Buddhist people don't just die)

Chandika

My beloved Gecko, named after my friendly driver. He is maybe blind by now, because I am still a bad photographer, but he keeps visiting my kitchen

We're having a new one, I'm sure he is excited like I am

Indeed, Kanchana likes being with me, but when it comes up to cleaning he prefers watching

living posh

Finally my day off and the opportunity to have a look at the city I am living in

Who cares about rain, when there is the Indian Ocean

5-Star- hotel experience  -why not

Real Cinnamon, and a bit of Sangria

My tourist guide Chandika and godfather of my beloving Gecko

(Sea) foodcheck for my sister

Nice Mussels, first time neither rice nor curry, but chili isn't missing

They call me AAAAUNTY, aunty come

The Singhala and Tamil New Year on April 13th/14th is like the Chrismas season in Europe, everybody stays with their families. So I stayed with the family of my CEO. 3 Sisters, two brothers having 10 boys and 3 girls. I got to know seven and three perfect sinhala phrases, as well as to play Cricket like they never imagined

My Sinhala teachers in a calm moment

Nice tranquille moment without teasing me

In five days five sons, I mess with all religions

HOW?

How is this kind of construction possible and why? There are Palmtrees but no Bambootrees, anyway, the house I am living in, is still standing

Add rice then you have Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

A little bit of Colombo

My responsibles Prabodya, Kanchana and me

My Home

Boris, having Breakfast

Boris or what ever his real name is, has a litte privilege in the elefant orphanage, maybe because of his foot, but anyway he is cute
