My second visitor Barbora came and we had amazing 3 weeks, full of everything

eventhough the beginning was doubtful

just a litte bit ;-)

we started to enjoy paradise

and went even to a wedding, two students invited us

at the hotel we found out who actually married

my sweet students, they took really nice care of us

3 of 4 brothers, number 4 was the groom

including all traditions,

kandian dansers

the burning coconut

the yummi- cake

the whole family, 350 smiles and handshake, here the parents (forgot of whom)

and the dancing, only man and 2 white women were drinking......

but great

then, 5 days trip

first Anuradnapura, the first capital of Sri Lanka

not so easy to find

but with some support

we found, whatever we needed to find

3 hours bike tour in noon time deserves beer, at least for central europeans

impossible that an austrian can beat a czech

but we didn't give up that day, another temple to rock

and we went to a concert, almost european style

with 2 doctors, though they can sing really good, they didn't, and there was no beer, so we didn't enjoy that much

went for dinner to a restaurant called Lighhouse Gally run by the SL Navy

and of course one of my students is working there, I still don't drink officially (the one on the left, I told him I will kill him if he can't keep that small secret)

4 people having dinner, 3 don't mind chili and order normal dishes, one orders side dishes

and guess what was spicy, so we shared

Boss' Wife B'day Party in KFC

so so, a irthday Party for a 35 year old woman in KFC, all the staff members had to dress in white and enjoy the party
in fact a surprise party

beautiful Nilusha, 2 days later someone killed her father and so I went on a funeral too, but it took another 2 weeks to see her smile again

Island here we come

My first visiter came and my boss decided that I should be with my boyfriend and that I have to see the Island, so 11 days od Avocado- discovery with Johannes

we took the early train (7am is far away from sitting in a train) to go to Kandy, 117km or 4 hours from Colombo in Central Avocado

too early to look good on pictures

we had to take first class (bit more than 2 euro) 

but 117 nice-view kilometers

by the way, best view on the stairs

it wasn't that interessted

THE famous kandian dance, followed by a wedding (homecoming, the wedding in Sri Lanka last two days, one the real ceremony in white and the home coming in red)

organized criminal stole my pineapple, didn't care at all

crazy entry-price difference for foreingers (1100 Rupees= ca 8euros) and local people (50 Rupees= ca 30cents) residence visa allows local entry prices

And don't forget it's a Island- Discovery, so let's check the herbs and plants in the Spice garden

our guide knows all old-people diseases in german, I kept on speaking english

Nuwara Elyia is the coldest place on my Avocado, so first run to wear a pullover
